William Penn undefeated 10 games into the 2020-2021 season and moved up a spot in the latest edition of the NAIA Hoops Report Top 25 poll.
The Statesmen come in at No. 2 in the Dec. 13 NHR ranking, behind Indiana Wesleyan (13-0) in the top spot. Lewis-Clark State, LSU Shreveport and Arizona Christian round out the top five.
WPU is 10-0 and tied for second in wins in the NAIA with Rochester (Mich.), who is 10-1.
Both IWU and WPU own current winning streaks of 22 games dating back to last season.
The Statesmen are led by Kevion Blaylock, who is averaging a double-double of 16.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.
William Penn is scheduled to play Park on Tuesday, Dec. 15. It will mark the first meeting of the two teams with both as members of the Heart of America Conference.
